Real Madrid has strengthened its squad significantly in the last transfer window, acquiring world-class players and making some promising signings that are paying off handsomely. Despite this, their collective performance has been far from impressive, and they currently sit third in La Liga , with the recent defeat against Atlético Madrid a bitter blow in a season that is still in its early stages.
Once the international break is over, with the vast majority of these players away on international duty, Real Madrid will have to turn the page and start rebuilding with October 25th as their target, when they will face FC Barcelona in the first major Clásico of the season.

6.Bernardo Silva
While he’s not playing badly when he comes on, his biggest problem is Mourinho’s management of his playing time. This hasn’t allowed him to fully establish himself and presents a problem in terms of adaptation, as he hasn’t yet proven himself to be the undisputed starter he’s capable of being.
5.Marc Cucurella
He’s a well-rounded player who is gradually gaining prominence, especially in the head-to-head competition with Álvaro Carreras for the starting left-back position at Real Madrid. He’s been a useful signing, but he hasn’t yet demonstrated a significant difference-maker.
4.Yan Diomandé
The Ivorian cost hundreds of millions of euros and has yet to justify that investment, although the season has only just begun and Real Madrid boasts a wealth of talent in the final third. Against Atlético, he was one of the few who created any real danger, and that’s surely something Mourinho will take into account for the future.
3.Ibrahima Konaté
The center-back has become a regular starter for The Special One and has shown the solidity that Real Madrid came looking for in him. While he hasn’t yet fully integrated the defense with Huijsen, he is providing the coach with solutions, and that, especially in the back line, is a huge relief.
2.Denzel Dumfries
The Dutchman has made the right flank his own and is a constant threat, linking up perfectly with his teammates. Compared to the other signings, he has had the most playing time, which has helped him earn his place in the rankings.
1.Carlos Espí
The Fireman. He’s only played 26 minutes for Real Madrid, but that was enough to secure victories against Espanyol and Elche. Moreover, against Betis, he scored a spectacular bicycle kick just minutes after coming on, only for a close offside call to deny him another goal.
